Giving Beyond Dollars: How In-Kind Contributions Strengthen Our Community

Read Time | Approx. 2 minutes

At Nanny Relief Fund, generosity shows up in many forms.

While financial donations are critical to providing direct relief to nannies in crisis, in-kind contributions offer another powerful way to give back. From contract review workshops to career coaching and educational webinars, skilled professionals within our community are stepping forward to share their time and expertise.

These contributions help expand access to knowledge, empower nannies to advocate for themselves, and create a more informed and supported workforce.

We are especially mindful that all offerings remain inclusive, accessible, and aligned with the real needs of working nannies. Our goal is not exclusivity, but equity. Every contribution is thoughtfully reviewed to ensure it reflects the values of this community.

If you have a skill, resource, or service to share, we invite you to get involved. Giving doesn’t have to be large to be meaningful. Sometimes, sharing what you already know can make a lasting impact.

Ways Industry Partners Can Contribute:

  • Partners can fund or co-create blog posts that provide valuable, practical information for nannies (not promotional content). Topics could include financial literacy, workplace boundaries, or benefits education.

  • Live or recorded sessions on topics like:

    • Contract negotiation

    • Burnout prevention

    • Navigating UHNW households

    • Special needs care strategies

  • Examples:

    • Resume and portfolio reviews

    • Interview preparation

    • Legal basics for domestic workers

  • Downloadable guides, templates, or toolkits that nannies can use independently.

  • Partners can create a product, service, or experience where a portion of proceeds is donated to NRF. This could include paid workshops, digital resources, or limited-time offerings that both provide value to the community and generate financial support for nannies in need.
